'NEVER FORGET' The Take That musical

The School has once again been approached to provide one team of 18 children for the children's choir for the professional production at the Theatre Royal in Brighton January 4th- 9th 2010. A fantastic opportunity for all those involved.


CINDERELLA WORTHING PAVILION

Sammy Foster, age 8 has successfully auditioned to be a junior dancer in ‘Cinderella' at the Pavilion Theatre in Worthing in December starring Todd Carty from Eastenders, The Bill and Dancing on Ice as Buttons.


ON TELEVISION

Oliver Sumners, age 5 has filmed a television advert with Chris Tarrant for his new programme ‘Tarrant Lets the Kids Loose'. Oliver appeared as the cameraman.


BURGESS HILL THEATRE CLUB PANTOMIME


Every year the school provides senior and junior dancers for the ‘Burgess Hill Theatre Club Pantomime'. This year the 2010 production is‘Dick Whittington ' with performance dates of January 15th/16th and 22nd /23rd /24th and 29th/30th

Maria Crawford Clarke has just completed a second six month run in 2008-2009 as a ‘Ballet Girl' in ‘Billy Elliott' in the West End.


PAST PUPILS
Phil Gardner is appearing in Matthew Bourne's ‘Swan Lake ‘ at the Peacock Theatre in London. Jenny Owens in ‘The Sound of Music' UK tour and Natalie Langston has just finished playing Rizzo in ‘Grease' in the West End. Holly Willouby was also once a pupil.

 

PAST PUPILS

Many of our pupils have gone on to further training in professional colleges including The Royal Ballet School, The Central School of Ballet, Elmhurst, Bird College, Performers, Arts Educational, Guildford School of Acting, Laine Theatre Arts and many more. Past pupils have gone on to appear with many Ballet Companies, Musical Theatre productions and productions all over the world on cruise ships.

Katy Harris                  Currently a Show Director for Disneyland Paris for productions in the both parks including the  parades, ‘High School Musical 1 and 2 ’, ‘The Legend of the Lion King’, ‘Stitch Interactive Show’. Katy was invited to go to ‘Tokyo Disneyland’ in 2008 to produce Disney’s live television broadcast for the Opening of the Beijing Olympics.

Lucy Harris                  Theatrical Costumier. Currently Head of Running WardrobeGlyndebourne Festival Opera.

Wardrobe Mistress for various West End Productions ‘We Will Rock You’, Dominion Theatre, ‘Never Forget’, Savoy Theatre/UK Tour  ‘Death in Venice’, English National Opera, ‘Madam Butterfly’, Royal Albert Hall, ‘Saturday Night Fever’, Apollo Theatre Victoria/UK tour

Phil Gardner-               Graduated from ‘The Central School of Ballet’ 2009 and his first professional contract is currently with Matthew Bourne’s ‘Swan Lake’ International Tour

Djalenga Scott             Understudy to Velma in ‘Chicago’ in the West End, currently on tour with ‘Footloose’

 

Jenny Owens               ‘Guys and Dolls’, ‘Mary Poppins’ and currently the ‘The Sound of Music’ Tour

 

Joanna Loxton             Understudy to Christine in ‘Phantom of the Opera’ in the West End
